2/13 Episode Recap

Parker and Jen had a few hours as the first Power Couple to decide whom to vote out.

Adam called a group of special needs kids “retards”, much to the chagrin of his partner Sheila. He did a very poor job of defending himself too. What a retard.

It was a drama-packed episode! Details and spoilers after the jump

Jen and Ryan (the actual boyfriend and girlfriend, but paired up with other house guests) took a huge risk by stealing a kiss in a rare moment alone together. I thought for sure Allison was going to walk in on them and start a cat fight with Jen. Allison is really starting to warm up to Ryan, but Ryan secretly needs to be faithful to Jen, so… it’s a pretty crazy love triangle, rectangle, trapezoid, rhombus, whatever!Alex totally grabbed Amanda’s ass. She’s all over it too. She thinks he just may be her soulmate after all! Hmmm! Perhaps the first hook-up??

Jacob says right to Jen’s face that he thinks Parker (Jen’s partner) is a snake and doesn’t trust him. Uh…wtf?? Even if that’s what he really thought, why would he want to piss off the very person who has the power to vote his ass out of the house?

Well, it turns out that he got Parker all miffed and Parker even went to go wake everyone in the house up and drag them into the living room for a meeting (I guess everyone complied since they could be voted out by him?). Side note…Amanda was only in her underwear, oh my.

So Parker actually gets it turned back onto Jacob by getting everyone mad at him for not giving up his source for who called him a snake. Since when is it that bad to be called a snake, anyway? So it turnss out Jacob, without permission from his partner Sharon, is “stirring up the pot” a bit, but we don’t see how this will help him at this point. THEN…

Sharon takes it upon herself to lie to Parker and tell him that it was Ryan, when we already know it was Adam (thanks to the BB editing showing Adam ‘fess up in the diary room). So Parker tells Jen he is going to put Ryan out of the house. She scrambles and feels like she has to tell Parker about the big secret of her and Ryan being boyfriend and girlfriend. Ryan finds out that Parker knows…so then he decides to just go ahead and tell Allison. Big mistake. She was actually into him, so she was superbly bummed out. Now she can’t trust Jen, Jen doesn’t trust Allison, Parker doesn’t trust Ryan and Ryan doesn’t trust Parker. Yay CBS! Way to go with the psychological “scripting”. Well done indeed. We have some great television on our hands now!

And for the eviction ceremony, which was pretty darn unceremonious, we are led to believe that Adam and Sheila were out but it was actually Jacob and Sharon. Wow. So much for that twist. Sharon got robbed by that lame ex-boyfriend for the second time. OUCH!

Next HoH competition is based loosely on the newlywed game, asking both partners the same question about the other and hoping to choose the same answers. Highlights: seeing Amanda in a gymnast outfit, Natalie in a Naughty Nurse outfit, and the real kicker: Jen in a dominatrix outfit. Yeah, that one’s going to be a screensaver for many this coming week! Yowza!

Teaser interview with Allison revealed that she is so distraught by the news about Ryan and Jen being boyfriend and girlfriend that she just might spill the beans to get at Jen and Parker. Whoa! But I predict that it will backfire on her, alienating her partner and making it impossible to cooperate to win. That is all! See you Sunday.
