As if Adam could dig a deeper hole for himself and have more people NOT like him… his remark last week about the group of “retards” that he works with back home has drawn the ire of many viewers and even non-viewers of Big Brother 9. Let’s just say that even if Adam was telling the truth about being a part of an autism foundation before coming into the BB House, he will definitely not be welcome to return once he’s out. 2/18 Episode Recap

Tonight’s Big Brother episode was nothing new to us feed watchers. That’s the nature of the game, really. The live stuff doesn’t happen until eviction night. We already knew that the beans were spilled about Jen and Ryan to the whole house. We already knew who was getting nominated for eviction. This is so hilarious! Even after Matt kept dissing his partner Natalie, telling everyone that she hangs all over him and he doesn’t want to have anything to do with her romantically…they did the deed Thursday night. And by the deed, I really mean a BJ.
I guess Valentine’s day just took over. Will this bring them closer together or drive them farther apart? Either way, they need to work as a team to survive in the house. I suspect that Matt is just using Natalie. For what? We shall see.

Parker and Jen had a few hours as the first Power Couple to decide whom to vote out.
Adam called a group of special needs kids “retards”, much to the chagrin of his partner Sheila. He did a very poor job of defending himself too. What a retard.

2/13 HoH Competition

HoH competition is based loosely on the newlywed game, asking both partners the same question about the other and hoping to choose the same answers. Highlights: seeing Amanda in a gymnast outfit, Natalie in a Naughty Nurse outfit, and the real kicker: Jen in a dominatrix outfit. Yeah, that one’s going to be a screensaver for many this coming week! Yowza!

Can you say “convoluted”? Wow, I guess all of the creativity stifled during the writers strike was channeled to the Big Brother writers. This season is going to rock! I look forward to seeing what happens with Jen and Ryan with them being paired with other “mates”. And of course the gay guys will keep us on our toes - eeeyouu! “Not that there’s anything wrong with that”.
So does anyone care to make any predictions on how these “soulmate” pairings will turn out? Please feel free to chime in with comments.

2/12 HoH Competition

Tonight’s HoH competition recap and results:
Description: One from each couple is suspended from wires and has to hold on to their soulmate the longest.
Recap: Order of elimination:
Adam and Sheila quit first (Sheila mostly)
Joshuah and Neil (one says to the other “dude, this is gay”)
Amanda and Alex made it 28 minutes
Sharon and Jacob 34 minutes
Then Julie Chen let them know that they can reach for the heart pillow with their hands to make a cool 10 thousand clams, if they also won HOH. So 2 of the couples went for it.
Allison went for pillow, got it, DROPPED IT, then fell and was eliminated along with partner Ryan.
Chelsia and James got the pillow but Chelsia couldn’t hang on at 54 minutes in.
Parker and Jen had the pillow and were in good shape.
Matt and Natalie were hanging on with no pillow.
Jen and Parker convinced Matt and Natalie to give up, ending everyone’s physical misery before too long. They swore on the Bible they would be safe. At first Matt and Natalie weren’t buying it, but after that, they were convinced that since Parker and Jen had the pillow, they were going to stick it out, so they might as well end it now. It worked.
Winners: Jen and Parker!
No nominations this time. Just a pick for elimination on the next episode.
